Bringing health education messages to rural Bhutan (Bhutan)
NCD prevention and control is already central to Bhutan’s plans for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, yet these health education messages often do not reach remote, rural areas.
Our Tarayana School Clubs promote youth volunteerism to raise awareness about healthy eating and the risks of substance abuse. We will be working with government offices, civil society organisations and schools to bring healthy living education to young people living in remote communities. The material will be available in a variety of languages to ensure people living in rural areas have access to health information in their local dialect.
